About does a fake ID work in Las Vegas

Does a fake ID work in Las Vegas?
I'm 17 and very tall, and think I can get by as 21. If I got a good fake ID, would it pass in Las Vegas for gambling? Are they really waiting to lower the gambling age? That's awesome! What do you think the chances of them passing the law are? What would happen if I got caught?

Maybe. Maybe not. There's no definitive answer. Some get by, some get caught. I would bet you get caught, the casinos are very serious about things like this that put their gaming license at risk. If you're thinking about playing a table game, they (the dealer and pit boss) will look at it very close. If you're playing machines you might get by without anyone ever coming to check your ID.. but when you go to cash in the cashier will probably card you... Try it and let us know how it turns out.
Answer 2 :
Not a good idea unless you want some jail time.
Answer 3 :
Doubt it. They are trained to spot fake ID's and the one thing you don't want to do is get caught with one. Why not wait a year .. they are talking about lowering the age to gamble to 18 here in Nevada.
Answer 4 :
It's not worth taking the risk.
Answer 5 :
not if you're gonna post it all over the internet. haha. you're gonna be someone's bitch if you get caught.
Answer 6 :
are willing to risk a year in jail?? no casino is willing to risk loseing their gambling and liqour license
Answer 7 :
It probably just depends where you go. The clubs are very tough and can spot a fake ID in a flash. Some places might not even care or notice. But I can tell you that they will check your ID most places. I am 30 and still sometimes get checked in Vegas. Clubs will check everyone. I only knew one guy who got caught using a fake ID in Vegas. It was on a trip we took in college. Most of us were over 21, but he wasnt. They busted him at a nicer hotel on the strip, trying to get a drink. They called over security when the bartender thought it was fake. Security detained him for a little while, took his picture, scare the crap out of him, but then let him go. So my honest guess is that you probably wont get arrested, but I would not take risk it these days.
Answer 8 :
you can go and see what happens because they don't check on the way in but if they come up to you, you have to provide id. always take a second id, in case they are nice about it and just take it away so you can get back home. but yes you can get arrested

About is the lowest age to work in Las Vegas Hotels 21

Is the lowest age to work in Las Vegas Hotels 21?
I'm 17 and, well.. I need a new job. (lol) I was wondering if I could get a job in one of the hotels in LV? Of course, working at a arcade or conducting a ride, or something? Some of those people who work there look pretty young. (lol) Does anybody know how old you have to be? Thank you!

i am pretty sure that is varys from hotel to hotel, and from job to job. some of the jobs u talked about are 17 and up..while others are 21 and up. the best way to find out would be to actually call from hotel to hotel or go visit the ones u want and ask for job applications

Check out www.hcareers.com
Answer 2 :
you may have a hard time getting a good job here without a local address. i would highly advise you to get any old job just to pay the bills, even if its a lousy one, so you will have the ability to take some time and make sure you get a job that works well for you. No sense settling for less in the land of opportunity. = )
Answer 3 :
Piece of advice, You'll need to get a health card, and maybe even a Tam card. Any one who works in a convience store there also needs a security card. as for accomodations, When i lived there 8 years ago you could rent a "roach hotel" one bedroom apartment ( I bevieve the British word is Flat) for $500 per month. I'm sure that it has went up since then. You can eat cheap though, if you don't mind doing the buffet tour, and bars (Pubs) never close. Electricity is high, gas ( as in heating, and cooking) can be cheap. Cooking jobs in "Hell" Nevada should be easy to find, almost as easy as Security Guard jobs. Wish you luck on adapting to Vegas, I tried it for two years ( 97 - 99), but eventually flew out of there like a bat out hell.

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=127 is the Link and the time is Friday 6th June 6:38:41am PDT Hope this Helps :)
Answer 2 :
It's on Pacific time, west coast USA. Checkout the website below.
Answer 3 :
It is Pacific Standard Time. If you are in the Eastern Time zone subtract 3 Hours. If you are in the Central Time zone subtract 2 Hours. If you are in the Mountain Time zone subtract 1 Hour.
Answer 4 :
The answer depends on how many drinks you have had and how stuck (losing) you are at the tables.
Answer 5 :
Las Vegas is on Pacific time so when it is 7 am in Vegas it is 3 hours later in NY, 2 hours later in Chicago, and 1 hour later in Salt Lake City.
